Rethinking the Process: Strengthening Decision-Making in Comprehensive Special Education Evaluations 24-25

Complete Attendance not available before workshop starts.

Participants will examine their current practices, focusing on how referral procedures, decision-making procedures, and the integration of informal data shape the quality and effectiveness of comprehensive evaluations.
Through guided discussions, case studies, and reflective activities, teams will explore strategies to enhance data-driven decision-making across the district. The session will highlight how informal data—such as teacher input, classroom observations, and work samples—can complement standardized assessments to create a fuller picture of student needs.
This workshop is primarily for Upshur County SSA.
