This 3-hour course provides a foundational overview of science safety, focusing on policies, procedures, and teacher responsibilities in middle school science classrooms. Participants will explore key safety laws, best practices for maintaining a safe lab environment, and strategies for planning safe instruction. This session will reinforce essential safety protocols, including the proper use of lab safety equipment. Participants will be expected to score 80% or higher on the final quiz.
