Rethinking Reading Records for Real Impact

This hands-on workshop is all about making reading records work for you and your students. If you’ve ever thought of them as just a way to level readers, you’re not alone—but they can do so much more! Together, we’ll dive into how reading records give us a clear window into students’ reading skills, fluency, and comprehension. You’ll get plenty of hands-on practice with administering reading records, analyzing what they tell us about student reading skills, and using that data to plan small-group instruction that truly meets your students’ needs. By the end of our time together, you’ll feel confident and equipped to use reading records in a way that makes a real difference in your classroom.
