Round Two with New Content! The process is the same, but the standards have changed! In Grades 3–5, many students struggle on the Math STAAR not because they lack effort, but because they hold on to deep-rooted misconceptions. This session focuses on uncovering and addressing those misunderstandings tied to high-priority TEKS that have been taught in the second semester. Educators will analyze common error patterns in STAAR items, explore concrete-to-representational-to-abstract (CRA) strategies, and discover how to turn misconceptions into moments of clarity and connection.
