Science Quest 2026-2027: Marvelous Matter and Energy for Grades K-2

Complete Attendance not available before workshop starts.

Join a year-long professional learning journey through the four foundational science strands of the K–2 Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills. This four-part cohort series is designed to deepen your understanding of grade-level science standards, enrich your vocabulary instruction, and build your confidence through engaging, hands-on lessons. Each session will focus on one science strand, with practical tools, collaborative conversations, and resources you can implement immediately in your classroom.

From solids to sizzle - explore how young learners observe and describe the physical properties of matter, experiment with heat and changes, and learn to classify the world around them. This session focuses on unpacking the Matter and Energy TEKS, introducing meaningful vocabulary routines, and engaging in hands-on investigations that make matter matter to your students.
