Foundations of Secondary Math Instruction: Challenge, Conversation, & Confidence

Complete Attendance not available before workshop starts.

Students grow when they’re challenged, but they need the confidence to stick with it and the conversation skills to make sense of it. In this session, you’ll learn how to create a math classroom where students take risks, talk through their thinking, and believe they can succeed—even when the math gets tough. You’ll leave with practical strategies and routines to build a culture that helps every student say, “I can do this, even when it’s tough.

***This session is part of the "Foundations of Secondary Math Instruction" workshop series. Each session is designed to be a stand-alone, but we encourage participants to join the others to build a complete toolkit.***
