A Deeper Dive in CTE: Supporting Special Population Students

In this session, we will discuss ways to support special population students in the Career and Technical Education (CTE) classroom. April Munoz, Emergent Bilingual specialist, will focus on writing content and language objectives, as well as connecting English Language Proficiency Standards (ELPs) to content with resources. Carrie Chandler will give an overview of how to support your special education students, ensuring they have equal access to CTE programs and post-secondary success. We will end the session with CTE legislative updates and how they will affect state accountability and school funding. This workshop is for Diboll ISD staff only.
