Procurement of Food Service Vendor Contracts- Virtual

Participants will develop a 4-step action plan to implement at their School Food Authority or organization to conduct self-checks of current or future formal contracts for consultants, vended meal services, and food service management companies. Participants will learn about the documentation requirements needed to provide during a Procurement Review when procuring a food service contractor or vendor, as well as top findings.
Objectives:
1. Locate procurement regulations and resources
2. Review SFA’s procurement system
3. Review current or future contracts
4. Implement Procurement Review readiness plans
