AI Foundations: Developing AI Literacy

Complete Attendance not available before workshop starts.

This foundational workshop introduces educational leaders, instructional coaches, and teachers to the essential concepts, capabilities, and considerations of artificial intelligence in education. Participants will move beyond AI myths and headlines to develop a practical understanding of how AI systems work, what they can and cannot do, and how to evaluate AI tools critically. Through hands-on exploration, collaborative discussion, and real-world scenarios, participants will build the confidence and knowledge base needed to make informed decisions about AI integration in their educational contexts. By the end of this session, participants will understand key AI terminology, have direct experience with common AI tools, and be prepared to engage in thoughtful conversations about AI's role in teaching and learning.
