Description

This interactive workshop provides districts and campuses with the knowledge and tools to create effective School–Parent Compacts. Participants will explore the difference between building relationships and enhancing the capacity of parents, guardians, and families to support student learning. They will review compliance requirements while actively working with Region 16 templates, toolkits, and ready-to-use resources, ensuring a clear understanding of these requirements. Through guided walkthroughs and hands-on exercises, teams will strengthen their ability to develop meaningful, actionable compacts and capacity-building strategies that go beyond simple participation and lead to measurable results.
