Lead4Ward New Teacher Bootcamp - Day 1

Would you like to retain effective teachers in your district or charter? This two-day workshop, presented by Lead4Ward, is designed to support and strengthen beginning teachers during their critical first year in the classroom. Participants will engage in practical, classroom-ready learning focused on building effectiveness, managing instruction, and fostering positive learning environments. Each participant will receive a copy of Lead4Ward’s First-Year Teacher Notebook. Participants will automatically be registered for day two - January 12, 2027, and MUST attend both sessions to receive credit.

Day 1 will focus on:
Becoming an effective teacher
Managing time, space, materials, and student behavior
Maintaining positive student behavior (introduction)

Day 2 will focus on:
Maintaining positive student behavior (continued)
Understanding the standards using the Snapshots tool
Utilizing Lead4Ward instructional tools, including QuickChecks, Think It Up!, Thinking Stems, and the Instructional Strategies Playlist.
