AI Literacy Training - Center ISD

Complete Attendance not available before workshop starts.

Artificial intelligence is rapidly becoming an integral part of the educational landscape, making AI literacy a crucial skill for today’s educators. This session is designed to help staff develop a clear understanding of how AI tools work, what they excel at, and where human judgment remains essential. Participants will explore foundational concepts of AI literacy, including how AI generates responses, common limitations and misconceptions, and the importance of responsible, transparent use in instructional settings. The session emphasizes informed decision-making, enabling teachers to confidently evaluate AI outputs and model appropriate use for students.

The workshop will then highlight high-impact, practical use cases for various AI tools. Through live demonstrations, participants will see how AI can support lesson planning, differentiation, feedback, communication, and teacher productivity—without replacing professional expertise or instructional intent. Teachers will leave with stronger AI literacy, a clearer sense of best-use scenarios, and practical strategies they can apply immediately to enhance teaching and learning.

This session is for Center ISD only. For a similar session in your district, contact Cyndi Nyvall at cnyvall@esc7.net.
