Discover how to transform student interest in gaming into meaningful college and career pathways. This session will highlight Region 7’s “Gamers to Makers” vision, connecting eSports programs with Career and Technical Education (CTE) opportunities and industry-aligned skills, with guest speakers from the Texas Scholastic Esports Federation (TexSEF). Participants will explore real-world implementation strategies, hear data-driven insights, and learn how to align programs with CTE pathways and Industry-Based Certifications (IBCs). Local exemplars will also share what this work looks like in action, providing practical tools and inspiration to help bring your vision to life.
