Part 2 & 3 of Science Essentials Combined - In this session, we bring together two powerful practices—Talk Nerdy to Me and Show What You Know—to help students turn ideas into evidence. Teachers will explore strategies that get students talking like scientists, using academic language to make sense of phenomena, and then capturing that thinking through models, explanations, and products that make learning visible. By the end, you’ll have practical tools to move beyond surface-level answers and support students in communicating their understanding with clarity, confidence, and purpose.

Note: Each session builds on the others, creating a complete picture of effective science teaching—but they are designed to stand alone, so you can attend any workshop independently.
