Description

This introductory workshop is designed for front office staff, registrars, receptionists, counselors, and other school personnel who interact with families during the enrollment and registration process. Participants will gain a foundational understanding of the Title I, C- Migrant Education Program (MEP), who qualifies as a migratory student, and the unique challenges agricultural families may face when accessing educational services. Whether you are the first point of contact for families or support student enrollment behind the scenes, this workshop will provide practical knowledge and tools to help ensure migratory students and their families receive the support they need from the moment they enter your campus.
