More Than Participation: Engaging Students Through Bluebonnet Secondary Math (On-Demand)

Complete Attendance not available before workshop starts.

Student engagement is more than having students complete a task or participate in a discussion—it is about getting students to think, make connections, take risks, and make sense of mathematics. In this on-demand course, teachers will explore how Bluebonnet Secondary Mathematics creates opportunities for meaningful engagement and how intentional teacher moves can turn those opportunities into active mathematical thinking. Participants will examine strategies to increase student ownership, strengthen discourse, and sustain engagement throughout a lesson. Through collaborative exploration of Bluebonnet lessons, teachers will identify practical ways to move students from simply participating to thinking, contributing, and engaging deeply in mathematics.
