These open enrollment programs blend high school and college coursework enabling students to earn a college degree or credential that leads to a living wage and thriving communities. In this session participants will develop an understanding of the CCRSM program structure, and requirements framed by the Texas CCRSM Blueprints. 361378 Supporting ECHS Graduates to Degree Completion

Aldape; University of Texas - Rio Grande Valley | In 2011, the Greater Texas Foundation (GTF) created its signature GTF Scholars Program to learn more about the educational experiences of ECHS graduates and support their transitions through postsecondary education. Twelve years later, GTF continues to invest in this program, with UTRGV having received funding for its third iteration. This session will engage participants in a discussion on the ECHS student experience and the various ways IHEs may support their personal and academic success. Participants will examine credit-to-degree alignment; read direct student quotes related to their academic journeys; and, delve into campus-level programming designed to support timely degree completion.
