Building on the foundational AI literacy developed in Session 1, this workshop transforms how educational professionals approach their daily work by positioning AI as a collaborative partner in their practice. Participants will explore common workflow challenges across educational roles and learn systematic approaches to identifying where AI can enhance efficiency, reduce repetitive tasks, and free up time for the work that matters most. Through guided exploration of core workflow strategies—such as template creation, iterative refinement, and batch processing—participants will discover how to integrate AI into their existing processes without disrupting what already works well. The session progresses from understanding universal workflow principles to personalizing AI integration for individual contexts and responsibilities. By the end of this session, participants will have developed their own customized AI-enhanced workflows tailored to their specific roles, whether in lesson planning, communication, professional learning design, administrative tasks, or instructional coaching. Participants will leave with concrete, immediately applicable strategies to work smarter while maintaining the quality, authenticity, and human connection that defines excellent educational practice.

Artificial intelligence is rapidly becoming an integral part of the educational landscape, making AI literacy a crucial skill for today’s educators. This session is designed to help staff develop a clear understanding of how AI tools work, what they excel at, and where human judgment remains essential. Participants will explore foundational concepts of AI literacy, including how AI generates responses, common limitations and misconceptions, and the importance of responsible, transparent use in instructional settings. The session emphasizes informed decision-making, enabling teachers to confidently evaluate AI outputs and model appropriate use for students. The workshop will then highlight high-impact, practical use cases for various AI tools. Through live demonstrations, participants will see how AI can support lesson planning, differentiation, feedback, communication, and teacher productivity—without replacing professional expertise or instructional intent. Teachers will leave with stronger AI literacy, a clearer sense of best-use scenarios, and practical strategies they can apply immediately to enhance teaching and learning.
